Oatman Agate Pendants

This beautiful agate comes from the area near Oatman, Arizona.  It's one of the closest collecting areas to Quartzite where the big annual rock swap and meet is held, and as such, has become fairly well known in the lapidary hobby.  It's characterized by white, tan and yellow swirls in translucent, clear agate.  The patterns are reminiscent of clouds and angel wings.

Very cool 21x29 free-form triangular cabochon with nice swirly patterns and a spot of brown near the center.  I set this in pure sterling silver with an open back so that light can pass easily through it making the stone even more beautiful.
