Picture Jasper Pendants
Petrified mud, with sandy to dark brown streaks of brown that
look like
landscapes. Deposits can be found in Idaho and Oregon, as well as other places on Earth. Jasper is crypto-crystalline quartz
and is found throughout the world and used as an ornamental stone. Jasper is always opaque while agates are transparent to
translucent.

This is a commercially cut stone from Asia, so I'm not sure of the actual origin of the gemstone rough. It does have
a great landscape on it with hills and brush. This 22x30 oval has been set in a ring of pure sterling silver with an open
back and has some minor pitting on the surface that doesn't detract from the stone's design.

Another great landscape on a commercially cut stone from Asia. This appears to be the same material as #JPPJ001, but
I honestly don't know where the material originated from. This 22x30 oval cabochon has some great hills though and even a
spot that looks like flat desert with hills behind it. Very nice stone!
