Pink and White Beads

These are really old trade beads from Venice made circa 1600 to 1800.  I've seen them referred to as "pink and whites" and as "white skunk beads."  Honestly, I don't know which, if either, is correct, but they certainly don't resemble a skunk in any way, so I decided to use the name "pink and whites."

I always find it fun to imagine how many people and who, have worn these beads over the course of 200 to 400 years!
