Bruneau Jasper Cabochons
A beautiful stone that comes from the region near the Bruneau River in western
Idaho, about 30 miles south of the tiny town of Bruneau. The Bruneau Jasper flow is the most silica-rich rhyolite flow
in the area and
is predominantly red and brown jasper. The deposit covers several 100 meters and
is covered with unpatented claims.

This piece does not have orbicular patterns that this rough
is famous for, but it is a nice warm, glowing golden brown color that resembles caramel. This is not a true cabochon
as the sides and top are flat. A great piece for wirewrapping! Approx. size: 22x18 Weight: 21.4 cts.
