Ariel Jasper Cabochons
I found two nodules of this interesting and multi-colored jasper while salmon fishing with my father
at the Merwin Fish Hatchery on the Lewis River near the small town of Ariel, Washington. I had not heard of any material
to be collected in the area, but there was a lot of river gravel exposed up on the banks of the river, and since I wasn't
catching anything, I couldn't help but look through the rocks. This is all of this material that I have and I can honestly
say that I'm probably the only person that has any of this attractive gemstone for sale.
