Axinite Specimens
Axinite is a blue, violet-blue, brownish or reddish-brown calcium aluminum boro-silicate mineral rarely
found used as a gemstone. It derives it name from the ax-like shape of the triclinic crystals. Axinite is
both pyroelectric and piezoelectric.
