Amethyst Specimens
Amethyst is the common name for purple quartz. It occurs naturally throughout the world in many
locations, notably Minas Gerais, Brazil; Thunder Bay, Canada; and Vera Cruz, Mexico.

Rather large piece with a few small spots of citrine. This druzy material comes from Norway, Michigan, in the heart
of the Menominee Iron District, and rests on a thick layer of jasper/quartzite. Approx. size:110x75x60 Approx. weight:

Another piece of the beautiful material found in Norway, Mi. This fantastic piece also contains a chunky matrix
of jasper/quartzite and is almost completely covered in drusy crystals on all sides. Approx. size: 130x110x95
