Faceted Sphene
Sphene is named from the greek word for wedge, because of its typical wedge shaped crystal habit. It is
also alternatively called titanite for its titanium content. Sphene can be cut as gems although it is considered a rarity
on the gem market. It brings to the table a fire greater than diamond and unique color shades.

Lot of ten fancy-cut triangles ranging from 4x6 to 5x8. Color is a light yellowish-green with a touch of brown.

Very cool cloudy, veiled oval 6x9 1.77cts. One of the larger stones I've seen cut from this material, but it's
heavily incuded. Still, the soft green color, a little lighter than peridot, makes this a very nice stone!
