Jasperized Stromatolite Rough
Stromatolites (blue-green algae) are some of the first life on earth, and lived approx. 2.1 billion
years ago! This material was collected in Norway, Mi. and is truly beautiful with a wide variety of colors including:
red, maroon, yellow, peach, pink, brown and white. While not true jasper,(It was described by a local geologist as "jasperoid.") it
is very silicified and makes a good solid cutting rough.
