Quartz Specimens
Quartz is the most common mineral on the face of the Earth. It is found in nearly every geological environment
and is at least a component of almost every rock type. It is also the most varied in terms of varieties, colors and
forms. This variety comes about because of the abundance and widespread distribution of quartz. A collector could easily have
hundreds of quartz specimens and not have two that are the same due to the many broad catagories.

Palm-sized, my palm anyway, double-terminated crystal harvested near Jesseville, Arkansas. Unfortunatly, the tip
was dinged a little bit, and there is some other minor damage here and there around the crystal. While it's not completely
clear, it's not as milky as it appears in the photos either. Still, it's a very powerful specimen for your collection!

Many, many years ago, when I was a wandering gypsy, I acquired about a dozen or so of these wonderful little drusy quartz
pieces from another wandering rock gypsy that I met on the east coast. He had collected them somewhere in Florida,
he never told me where. They were super, super sparkly in the sunlight and we made wire-wrapped pendants out of most
of them and only kept a few for ourselves. I was cleaning an old drawer out the other day and found the last two, so
here's one for sale! Approx. size: 26x21x10 Weight: 4.76 gm.
